Cool Hand Luke turns 45 and “The Bear” celebrates!
Jamie and I were talking the other day about food challenges and I told him he had to do the most famous challenge ever: The Cool Hand Luke. For those that don’t know, Cool Hand Luke is an awesome movie staring Paul Newman. Newman stars in the title role as Luke, a prisoner in a Florida prison camp who refuses to submit to the system. In 2005, the United States Library of Congressdeemed Cool Hand Luke to be “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant” and selected it for preservation in the National Film Registry.
Anyway, in the film Luke eats 50 hard boiled eggs after being told that “Nobody can eat 50 hard boiled eggs”. As Jamie and I were discussing this he decided that it was too easy and it would be better to do it this way. I was amazed by his suggestion and I think you will be too!
